I offer half-day (3 hours), whole day (6 hours), and weekend long (9 hours), intensives with couples in San Francisco. A couples intensive offers a psycho-educational and experiential process that equips couples with relevant practices they can readily apply. Before the intensive I will meet with each participant via phone or over video-conference to make sure that both people feel I’m a good fit and so I can gather impressions and prepare to facilitate in a meaningful way. I have familiarity and training in the research and methods of several skilled folks, namely: Dr. Brené Brown, Dr. Sue Johnson, Drs. John and Julie Gottman, Esther Perel, and Lori Jean Glass. If you and your partner are interested in working together I encourage you to contact me for a phone consultation.

The Daring Way™
The Daring Way™ is a highly experiential methodology based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown. During the process facilitators explore topics such as vulnerability, courage, shame, and worthiness. Participants are invited to examine the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that are holding them back and identify the new choices and practices that will move them toward more authentic and wholehearted living.
The primary focus is on developing shame resilience skills and developing daily practices that transform the way we live, love, parent, and lead.
Dr. Brené Brown is a Texas resident and research professor at the University of Houston. She has spent the past two decades studying courage, vulnerability, shame, and empathy and is the author of numerous highly acclaimed bestsellers, including: The Gifts of Imperfection, Daring Greatly, Rising Strong, Braving the Wilderness, and Dare to Lead. You can also find her on Netflix and watch her vulnerability TED Talk here.

Feeding Your Demons®
It's an approach based on Buddhist beliefs and sensibilities that it is through compassion and understanding one is able to gain greater freedom and liberation from suffering and struggle.
Because it is highly structured, and also has the participants experience at the center, it's an incredibly supportive and effective modality to gain tangible and immediate resources that are also depth-oriented.
The facilitation typically includes preparation before the process, being guided through the practice, and support integrating the experience. I am able to offer this service to individuals and couples at this time.
